If you’re a die hard BMW fan we can make your day. It appears your favorite German automaker is working on a quad-turbocharged diesel engine for the 7 Series:
- inline six-cylinder
- o-liter oil burner
- more than 400 horsepower
- 590 pound-feet torque
You may be a big fan, but so far we don’t have any indication this engine will make it to our market, but it should be replacing the tri-turbocharged diesel engine in the X5 xDrive50d M Performance and M550d. In 2016 we may see it launch in the 7 Series M750d model.
